On July 10 the American rock band Aerosmith released the official music video for the song "Legendary Child" on the band's YouTube VEVO channel. The Casey Patrick Tebo directed video revolves around girls on roller skates telling the story of Aerosmith. You can watch Aerosmith's official "Legendary Child" music video here.
Steven Tyler Leaves "American Idol" to Concentrate on Aerosmith
At the beginning of the music video there is a voice over that says, "This is the story of America's greatest rock band. A story of struggle, a story of triumph. For over four decades they overcame the trends, no matter what music they were up against."
The rest of the music video switches between scenes of the band performing in a warehouse and actress Alexa Vega ("Spy Kids") on roller skates trying to outrun other people on skates. She clutches a black box as she outsmarts her chasers who appear to represent different trends in the music industry. She escapes them and opens the box. It is not shown what is inside, but at the end 'to be continued' flashes across the screen.
The song "Legendary Child" is the first single to be released from their forthcoming 15th studio album, "Music from Another Dimension!". It will be Aerosmith's firth studio album featuring all new material to be released since 2001's "Just Push Play". The album "Music from Another Dimension!" is set to be released November 6, 2012 via Columbia Records.
