Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald continue to make sweet, sweet music together. The couple released the music video to their duet "Now That I've Found You," yesterday on MTV's Hollywood Crush.

The Twilight star, 23, and her musician husband, 27, debuted their single last November, right before the release of Breaking Dawn - Part 1. The folksy love song was a collaboration between the newlyweds (she wrote the lyrics and he composed the music), who got married in October 2011.

Directed by Reed and Whitney Dean, the video provides a look at the couple's romantic life together -- whether holding hands through a field or singing together on top of an old VW Bug.

"I'm always walking around the house with a guitar, and I'm always writing songs and stuff like that," McDonald told Hollywood Crush about their labor of love. "Nikki's a great writer and she always kind of sings along with me. I'm like, 'Dude, you have a great voice. Why don't we do something?' When we were on the way back from France, this song kind of happened on the plane. We just got together and wrote it."

Reed explained how she wanted to keep the theme of the video stripped down.

"I wanted it to be simple and sweet and tell the story of two people and have it be more about the atmosphere," she said. "I don't know if you notice, but there's a very specific choice in there with cuts and specific shots that are partial and you can only see parts of our mouths and hands. I don't want to dwell on the shots of us for too long."

What did McDonald think of his wife as video director?

"She's really good to work with. It all just kind of fell into place. She didn't boss me around too much."
