| Kelly Clarkson premieres music video for the song 'Dark Side' (Video) - TheCelebrityCafe.com Posted: 24 May 2012 10:26 AM PDT The "My Life Would Suck Without You" singer will return to reality TV tonight The original American Idol winner, Kelly Clarkson, premiered a new music video for the song "Dark Side." This is the third single released from her latest album, Stronger. Clarkson unveiled the video earlier today on her Twitter account. The "Dark Side" clip features Clarkson in a pink dress with light makeup and in another scene where she is wearing a funky black and green dress in a graffiti-filled parking structure. While Clarkson sings, there are various other scenes of people and their hardships, differing from weight issues to drug problems. Instead of ending on a sad note, words like "hope" and visuals of the sun rising offer a silver lining to the music video and Clarkson ultimately consoles the people in the end of the video. The music video matches the tinkling song's acceptance message. "Dark Side" was first performed live on television last Sunday during the telecast of the Billboard Music Awards. Aside from performing on television, Clarkson is also ready to return to the format that made her famous. The pop singer is set to return to reality television tonight when she will help find amateur talent on the ABC show, Duets. Each week she will perform with a contestant as will Robin Thicke, John Legend, and Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles. Clarkson told MTV News that she will bring her Idol experience to Duets. "I'm just going to try and do kind of what I did on 'Idol' and hopefully that will help my people," Clarkson told MTV News. "It's not really as much up to us, the stars on the show, it's more for the kids that really just need to make sure they are bringing their A-game every week," she mentioned about Duets new music competition format. Her latest album, Stronger hit number two on the Billboard 200 last year in October and has gone on to sell over 780,000 copies so far. "Dark Side" is set to be released to radio next month.
