Adam Lambert performed at the 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards Presented in Los Angeles by ABSOLUT® Vodka on April 17, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza. Rob Halford of the band Judas Priest introduced his performance.

The GLAAD Media Awards elevate and promote fair, accurate and inclusive stories of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) issues, people and allies that have increased awareness, understanding and respect for the lives of LGBT people. The GLAAD Media Awards also fund GLAAD's work to amplify stories of LGBT people and issues that build support for equality.

Lambert's debut album, For Your Entertainment, debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 and has since been certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. He is nominated this year for a GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Music Artist.

Lambert spoke on the red carpet before the event and stated that he was happy that "GLAAD" has supported music artists who and out and that he ready to rock the house. Check back for more of our interview and updates on Adam Lambert from the awards.

In this episode, Mr. Schuester is concerned that the girls in the glee club are being disrespected and bullied by the male members. Looking to Madonna and her musical message of equality as inspiration, he challenges the entire team to choose Madonna songs as their next assignment in the hopes that the girls embrace Madonna's strength, independence and confidence so that the guys will see the errors of their misogynistic ways.

The glee club takes the assignment to heart and performs some of the Material Girl's greatest hits, including "Express Yourself" and "Like a Prayer." Meanwhile, Kurt and Mercedes give Sue a vote of confidence with a Madonna makeover that is definitely in "Vogue."

Kanye, 'Suge' square off in shooting case - Chicago Sun-Times

MIAMI TRIAL | Gunplay at 2005 party

A rap music smackdown looms in a federal courtroom between troubled impresario Marion "Suge" Knight and controversy magnet Kanye West over a shooting at a Miami Beach party.

Knight, founder of Death Row Records, was shot in the right leg in 2005 by a still-unknown assailant at a party West hosted at the Shore Club before the MTV Video Music Awards.


Knight claims in a lawsuit that West and the club's owners failed to provide security necessary to keep out people with weapons.

"How someone came with a gun into a very VIP party -- that just doesn't meet the smell test in life," Knight's lawyer, Marc Brumer, said.

In court papers, West and the Shore Club ownership have denied Knight's claims.

A Miami trial is scheduled to begin Dec. 6 trial.
